Scruse is a variant of the surname Cruse. The surname Scruse is also found in Wiltshire and you can see in the parish registers how the surname changed from Cruse to Scruse:

http://cruwys.blogspot.com/search/label/Scruse

In America the surname Crews changed to Screws. It's fascinating to see the way that surnames have evolved over the years. The English Scruse who has taken a DNA test does not however match with the American Screwses, but I'm hoping in due course that we will discover the origin of the American Screws line.Debbie Kennetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11573470282571579765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7238849140976286627.post-30979968668859130222010-02-14T02:22:18.360+00:002010-02-14T02:22:18.360+00:00are you only interested in the scruse due to the r...are you only interested in the scruse due to the relationship to that famous jackson familyUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05845786774614194332noreply@blogger.com
